To commemorate the 80th Anniversary of the Battle of Arnhem, we have launched our own commemorative t-shirt. This is limited edition for 2024.

The Battle of Arnhem plays a key part in the brand's story and heritage. Our namesake, Stanley Biggs, served as a medical orderly with the 181 Airlanding Field Ambulance, RAMC during the battle. He died on 25th September during the last days of the battle.

The special design is of the emblem adopted by the Airborne Forces at its inception, showing Bellerophon astride Pegasus. The 1944 type signifies the year the Battle of Arnhem took place.

This particular design is actually taken directly from original artwork used on an airborne configured jeep.

The design is screen printed (in Nottinghamshire) in Airborne colours that can be worn by anyone who appreciates their history.

As official partners of The Commonwealth War Graves Commission, who maintain Stanley Bigg's grave in Oosterbeek in the Netherlands, a five pound donation will be sent to the Commission to support their cause.

The t-shirts are made from ringspun combed organic cotton, to give the softest and most comfortable wear. A classic staple, these shirts are perfect on their own, or for wearing under one of our knitted jumpers, or shirts. They go perfectly when matched with our jeans.
